Gua Sha has been practiced in China for thousands of years. It was originally used as a healing technique to treat a range of ailments, from chronic pain, respiratory problems, and for cosmetic purposes. Gua Sha is a form of massage that involves using a smooth tool to apply pressure to the skin. The pressure helps to increase blood flow, stimulate the skin, encourage lymphatic drainage and promote healing!
